Price per page, side by side
Monthly prices are not comparable when the allowances differ, so the per-page rate is worked out from each vendor’s own published numbers.

What BankStatementConverter.com does better
A lower price per page at every tier
Their Starter plan is $15 a month for 400 pages, about $0.04 a page, against our $15 for 300. Their Business plan is $50 for 4,000 pages, about $0.013 a page, against our $99 for 2,500. Yearly billing halves their price again: $300 a year buys 4,000 pages a month. If a spreadsheet is all you need and you convert thousands of pages, they cost less, by a wide margin.
A public API, and conversions without an account
Their API documentation covers uploading statements, polling while a file processes, setting the password on a locked PDF and converting to JSON or CSV, all drawing on the same credits as the website. We have no API. Their homepage also offers anonymous conversions with no sign-up, up to a daily page limit, while every upload here needs an account.
A short, plain retention rule
Their privacy policy and terms say uploaded documents stay on their servers for 24 hours and are then deleted, and are not forwarded to any third party. Some firms prefer a fixed rule like that to a setting someone has to choose. Here retention is a workspace setting, from keeping nothing to keeping a year.
Several statements merged into one CSV
Their converter lists the files you uploaded in the last 24 hours and can convert them into one CSV. We convert each statement into its own file and do not merge statements, so if one combined spreadsheet for a year of statements is the goal, they do it in one step.
Where we differ
Import files for accounting software
Their published outputs are Excel (XLS), CSV and JSON. Here a statement also exports as QBO, QFX, OFX and QIF on Starter, with IIF for QuickBooks Desktop and Tally XML from Professional, plus a Xero CSV preset. QBO and QFX rows carry transaction IDs, so importing an overlapping statement does not duplicate rows in QuickBooks or Quicken.
Every row checked against the statement’s balances
Their pages describe a preview, a manual selection tool for when automatic conversion fails, and an offer to fix a file you email them. They do not publish a balance check. Here every conversion tests the running balance on each row, page subtotals, opening balance plus movement against the closing balance, printed totals and the transaction count, and shows any gap in dollars at the row where it starts.
The source line one click away
Click any converted row and its line is highlighted on the PDF. When a check fails, that is how you confirm what the bank printed without scrolling a long statement by eye.
Card statements signed the cardholder’s way
Credit card statements are detected and exported with charges, fees and interest negative and payments and refunds positive, which is what QuickBooks, Xero and Quicken expect. Each cycle is checked against the printed summary: previous balance plus charges, minus payments and credits, equals the new balance.
Straight to QuickBooks Online, with a team
On paid plans a reviewed statement can be sent to a QuickBooks Online bank or card account as posted transactions, and rows already sent are skipped if you send it again. Seats come with every plan (3 on Starter, 10 on Professional, 25 on Business), with Admin, Accountant and Viewer roles and access limited to chosen clients.

FAQ
VouchRow vs BankStatementConverter.com: questions
How much does BankStatementConverter.com cost?
Their published plans are $15 a month for 400 pages, $30 for 1,000 and $50 for 4,000, or $90, $180 and $300 a year for the same monthly pages. They also offer a small daily allowance for anonymous and registered users, and an enterprise option on request. Prices as read in October 2026; check their pricing page before deciding.
Is BankStatementConverter.com cheaper than VouchRow?
Yes, at every tier, and their yearly plans halve the price again. At 4,000 pages a month their $50 plan costs about $0.013 a page; our nearest plan is $99 for 2,500 pages. The case for us is the formats, the checks and the QuickBooks Online send, not the price.
Is BankStatementConverter.com safe to use?
Their privacy policy says uploaded documents are deleted after 24 hours and not forwarded to third parties, and their homepage says they comply with strict standards, without naming a certification. We cannot judge more than they publish. Here, a digital statement is read in your browser, a scan is sent to our servers to be read, what is kept follows your retention setting, and we hold no certification either.
Can BankStatementConverter.com make a QBO file for QuickBooks?
Their published outputs are Excel, CSV and JSON, with no QBO, QFX, OFX, QIF or IIF. QuickBooks Online accepts a bank CSV with three or four columns, so their CSV can work there. QuickBooks Desktop and Quicken need a QBO, QFX or IIF file, which we export.
Does it handle scanned statements?
Their API documentation separates text-based from image-based PDFs and has image-based files wait in a processing state before they can be converted. Their site says little more about scans. Here a scanned statement is read with OCR, one at a time, and goes through the same balance checks as a digital one.
Is VouchRow more accurate than BankStatementConverter.com?
We do not know. We have not tested their output, and nobody can answer that without running both on the same statements. What we can say is what happens here when a row is misread: the balance check fails at that row and shows the dollar difference. Try both on your own statements.
What is the best BankStatementConverter.com alternative?
It depends on what you are missing. If it is QBO, QFX or IIF files, balance checks or a QuickBooks Online send, a converter like ours. If it is an API at volume, another API-first tool. If price per page is what matters most, staying with BankStatementConverter.com is hard to beat.
Does VouchRow have an API like theirs?
No. If you are building conversion into your own software, their API is available today and ours is not, so we are not the BankStatementConverter.com alternative for that job. VouchRow is built for a person reviewing statements and exporting or sending them to accounting software.
