AAdvantage Aviator, JetBlue, Wyndham and other Barclays US cards
Convert a Barclays US credit card statement to Excel, CSV or QuickBooks
Barclays US offers a transaction download but does not say how far back it reaches. Convert the PDF statements to get any AAdvantage Aviator, JetBlue or Wyndham cycle into Excel, CSV or QuickBooks, checked against the totals Barclays prints.
- Read as a US statement: dollars and MM/DD dates
- Miles and points summaries kept out of the money
- Each cycle checked against the summary
- Annual fees and interest as their own rows

The short answer
Can you export a Barclays credit card statement to Excel?
For Barclays US cards, yes, for the dates Barclays will give you. Its help center says to log in, choose Transactions from the Activity & Statements menu, click Download transactions, choose your financial software from the list and select your dates. Barclays names the software it supports: Excel 2003 and above, Quicken 10 and above, and QuickBooks 10 and above. It does not publish how far back the download reaches, so check the earliest date your account offers.
Statements are under Statements in the same Activity & Statements menu on the website, and in the Barclays US app under the menu for the account. They are PDFs, and they are the record Barclays issued: whole billing cycles with the account summary, fees and interest. Barclays does not publish how many years of statements it keeps online either.
Converting the PDF gives you Excel, CSV, QBO or QFX for any cycle you have. A card statement has no running balance, so each converted cycle is checked against the summary instead: previous balance, minus payments and credits, plus purchases, fees and interest, must equal the new balance. If you are looking at a Barclays statement in pounds, it is from the UK bank, which this page does not cover.
A Barclays statement from the US is not a Barclays statement from the UK

What Barclays US lets you export from a credit card
Each route has a job. Converting the statement covers whatever the download does not.
Download transactions
Dates you choose; earliest date not published
Under Activity & Statements, then Transactions. Choose your software from the list (Excel 2003 and above, Quicken 10 and above, QuickBooks 10 and above) and select your dates.
Where it stops: The range is not published, the dates you pick are not the billing cycle, and there are no statement totals in the file.
Statements
Not published
One PDF per billing cycle on the website or in the Barclays US app, with the account summary, transactions, fees and interest.
Where it stops: A PDF only. Getting the rows into Excel or QuickBooks means converting it.
Converting the statement with VouchRow
Any statement you have
The PDF becomes rows in the format your software takes, checked against the account summary, with every row linked to its line.
Where it stops: Needs the statement PDF. A cycle you never saved has to come from Barclays US first.
How far back
How far back each Barclays US option reaches
Barclays US does not publish either figure, so both bars are shown as unknown. Check what your account lists.

Step by step
How to convert a Barclays US credit card statement
- 1Save the statementsOn the website, log in and choose Statements from the Activity & Statements menu. In the Barclays US app, select the account, tap the menu and choose Statements. Save each month you need as a PDF.
- 2One card account per batchIf you have more than one Barclays card (an Aviator and a JetBlue card, for example), keep each account’s statements in its own batch.
- 3Upload and convertSign in to VouchRow and add the PDFs. Digital statements convert in batches. A scanned paper statement is read with OCR, one at a time. A password-protected PDF is unlocked in your browser; the password is never sent.
- 4Check each cycle against the summaryThe rows must add back to the new balance. If they do, the cycle shows as balanced. If not, VouchRow shows the difference in dollars, and clicking any row shows its line on the PDF.
- 5ExportExcel or CSV to review, QBO for a QuickBooks credit card account, QFX for Quicken, or the Xero CSV preset.

Where is your Barclays US card data going?
Pick the destination. The advice changes with it.
Barclays credit card statement to Excel
An .xlsx with one row per transaction: date, description and one signed amount, written from your side of the card: purchases, fees and interest negative, payments and credits positive.
Dates are real Excel dates in US order, so sorting and filtering work and no row drifts into the wrong month. A year of statements converts in one batch, one file per statement.
PDF to ExcelBarclays credit card statement to CSV
CSV is for when another tool reads the file. Choose the date format the importer expects before you export, and check it is set for US dates if the tool was set up for UK Barclays files.
Barclays US’s own download covers the dates you pick. A converted CSV covers whole cycles, with the same columns every time.
PDF to CSVBarclays credit card statement to QuickBooks
Export QBO and import it into the credit card account in QuickBooks (in QuickBooks Online, upload from file under bank transactions; in Desktop, as a Web Connect file). It works whether or not a bank feed can reach the account.
Each row carries a transaction ID, so a converted cycle that overlaps a Barclays download is recognised rather than duplicated. Charges arrive as charges and payments as credits to the card.
PDF to QBOBarclays credit card statement to Quicken
Export QFX, Quicken’s Web Connect format, and import it into the existing Barclays card account so older cycles join the history you already have.
QIF also imports, but it has no transaction IDs, so a cycle imported twice will duplicate. Prefer QFX.
PDF to QFXBarclays credit card statement to Xero
Use the Xero CSV preset: one signed amount column and the date format Xero expects. Import it into the credit card account in Xero, then reconcile as usual.
Purchases come out negative and payments and credits positive, which is how Xero expects statement lines on a credit card account.

How a Barclays US statement is laid out
The facts to check against the statement in front of you. Accounts covered: AAdvantage Aviator Red, Silver and Business, JetBlue and JetBlue Plus, Wyndham Rewards Earner cards, Other Barclays US co-branded and Barclays-branded cards.
| Date format | US style, MM/DD on each row; the year comes from the statement period |
|---|---|
| Running balance | None. Each cycle is proved against the account summary |
| Currency | US dollars only. This is not a Barclaycard UK statement in pounds |
| Fees and interest | Grouped apart from purchases, with totals for the period and the year to date, as US rules require |
| Rewards | Co-brand cards add a miles or points summary that is not money and not transactions |
Why it works
Built for Barclays US card statements
US dates, read as US dates
MM/DD rows are read month first, with the year from the statement period, so no row lands in the wrong month the way it would with UK settings.
The summary is the proof
Previous balance, payments, credits, purchases, fees, interest and new balance are read as the cycle’s totals and kept out of the transaction list.
Miles are not money
AAdvantage miles, JetBlue points and Wyndham points summaries carry numbers that look like amounts. They are left out of the rows and the check.
Annual fees as their own rows
Co-brand annual fees and any interest are grouped apart from purchases on the statement and come out as separate rows, ready to label.
Every row traced to its line
Click a row and the PDF opens at the line it came from, which is how a reviewer checks a cycle without paging through it.
No aggregator needed
When an app or bank feed cannot reach a Barclays US account, the statements you download yourself still convert.
Checked before export
A misread digit is caught on its own row
Every conversion is tested against the statement: the running balance on every row, page subtotals, opening plus movement against closing, the printed credit and debit totals, and the transaction count. When a number does not add up, VouchRow names the row and highlights the line it came from on the PDF.
Arithmetic only: it verifies amounts, balances and totals, not descriptions or dates, and two errors that cancel out would pass. The source-line link covers the rest.

Barclays US or UK
Which Barclays statement do you have?
Barclays US credit cards are issued by Barclays Bank Delaware and serviced at barclaysus.com (the help center is at cards.barclaycardus.com). They are mostly co-branded: American Airlines AAdvantage Aviator, JetBlue, Wyndham Rewards, Hawaiian Airlines, cruise lines and retailers. Their statements are in US dollars with MM/DD dates.
Barclays and Barclaycard in the UK are a separate bank with separate statements in pounds, with DD/MM dates and UK sections. The search results for “barclays statement to excel” and “barclaycard statement csv” are mostly about the UK. Advice about the UK app’s CSV export, UK statement dates or UK PDF passwords does not apply to a Barclays US card.
Layout
How a Barclays US credit card statement is laid out
Barclays US does not publish a sample statement or a guide to reading one, so this page sticks to what every US card statement must show under the federal rule (Regulation Z): an account summary with the previous balance, payments, credits, purchases, balance transfers, cash advances, fees, interest and new balance; each transaction identified with its date and amount; and credits set apart from charges.
The same rule requires fees to be grouped together under a Fees heading and interest under Interest Charged, each with a total for the statement period and for the calendar year to date, kept apart from the purchases. On a co-brand card that is where the annual fee appears. The year-to-date totals are a summary that looks like activity and is used as a check, not as rows.
Co-brand statements add a rewards summary (miles or points earned this cycle and similar lines). Those figures are not dollars and not transactions. Check the exact headings on your own statement; the conversion reads them as printed, and the cycle check confirms nothing was missed or doubled.
Downloads and apps
Downloading Barclays US transactions yourself
Barclays US’s download is under Activity & Statements, then Transactions, then Download transactions: choose your software from the list, pick the dates and download. Barclays names the software rather than file types: Excel 2003 and above, Quicken 10 and above, QuickBooks 10 and above. It does not state how far back the dates can go.
Barclays US also says that, to protect customer data, it no longer allows certain browsers and requires a one-time passcode from unknown devices, and that some third-party apps and financial aggregators could not adapt and have been blocked. Its advice is to download your statement data and import it yourself. If a budgeting app or a QuickBooks bank feed stopped updating a Barclays card, that is the likely reason, and converted statements fill the missing cycles.
Business cards
Barclays US business cards
Business versions of the co-brands (such as the AAdvantage Aviator Business card) are statements for a business, often with employee cards. Convert them to QBO and import into the credit card account in QuickBooks, or to CSV for Xero, one card account per batch.
If employee cards are listed with their own totals, those totals are subtotals: the converted file keeps every purchase as its own row and leaves the subtotals out, so the cycle still ties to the summary. Rows carry transaction IDs, so a converted cycle that overlaps a download does not duplicate.
Troubleshooting
Common Barclays US conversion problems
Most Barclays US errors come from UK assumptions, rewards boxes and blocked connections.
- Rows land in the wrong month: the file was read with UK (DD/MM) dates. Barclays US statements are MM/DD.
- Extra rows with whole numbers and no dollar sign: the miles or points summary was read as transactions.
- The annual fee is missing: fees are grouped in their own section after the purchases. Check it came through as a row.
- Year-to-date fee and interest totals appear as charges: they are summaries required on every US statement, not activity.
- A bank feed or budgeting app stopped updating the card: Barclays US says it has blocked some aggregators. Download or convert the statements instead.
- The download will not go back as far as you need: Barclays does not publish its range. Convert the statements for older cycles.

Before you import
After converting a Barclays US statement, check these
- The cycle balancesPrevious balance plus the rows equals the new balance on the account summary. If not, the difference is shown.
- US datesEvery row is in the statement’s month or the one before it. A row in a far-off month means the date was read day first.
- No miles or points rowsNothing from the rewards summary among the transactions.
- Annual fee presentIf the summary shows fees charged, the annual fee or other fee appears as its own row.
- Payments are creditsYour payment and any refunds are positive in the export, not charges.
- No year-to-date rowsThe year-to-date fee and interest totals are not in the transaction list.
