What bank-statements.co does better
A REST API, which we do not have
If you are building conversion into your own product, they have an API today and we do not. That is not a small difference, and no amount of interface polish substitutes for it.
Cheaper at the top tier
Their Enterprise plan is $99 for 3,000 credits, about $0.033 a page; our Business plan is $99 for 2,500, about $0.040. At high volume they cost a little less per page.
Broad international bank pages
They publish pages for banks across many countries. If your statements come from outside the US majors, they may already have written about your layout.
Where we differ
Row-level checks, not statement totals
Their published checks compare counts and opening, closing and total figures where the statement provides them. Here the running balance is checked on every row, and every row links to the line it came from on the PDF.
QBO, QFX and OFX with your real account details
Their own pages say their OFX and QBO exports use placeholder values for things like currency, account type and closing balance. Ours carry the statement’s currency and closing balance, the Intuit bank ID you enter, and transaction IDs derived from each transaction so re-imports do not duplicate.
More formats for accounting software
Eight export formats, including QFX for Quicken, IIF for QuickBooks Desktop and Tally XML, none of which they publish.
Cheaper at the low and middle tiers
Their Starter is $29 for 350 credits and Pro $49 for 800, which do not roll over. Ours are $15 for 300 pages and $39 for 900, and only pages with transactions are counted.

FAQ
VouchRow vs bank-statements.co: questions
How much does bank-statements.co cost?
Their published plans are $29 a month for 350 credits, $49 for 800 and $99 for 3,000, at one credit per page, with credits that do not roll over, as read in October 2026.
Do you have an API?
Not yet. If you need one now, they have one.
Can you read statements from banks outside the US?
Yes — the parser works from the statement’s layout rather than from a per-bank template, so it is not restricted to a supported list. Whether it does well on a particular layout is a question worth answering with your own file, and the balance check will show you the row if it does not.
Why does the bank ID in a QBO file matter?
QuickBooks checks the INTU.BID tag against its list of Web Connect banks and rejects files that do not match, often with errors like OL-301 or OL-249. A file with a placeholder or borrowed ID can fail, or import against the wrong institution.
